I’ve undergone extensive training in personal development, psychology, communication, relationships, and mindfulness in organizations. But at some point, I reached a place where further insights, psychological models, self-analysis, or books couldn’t touch what wanted to be touched.

 In 1995, I met my first teacher of Light Body meditations in Amsterdam, and the journey hasn’t stopped since. I attended my first teacher training in 2003 and continue to deepen my knowledge in Belgium and the U.S. with the late founders of this beautiful practice.

 Below, I describe some of the effects of these meditations on my personal and professional life.

My personal experiences with the Lightbody meditation:

  • I no longer lose balance as quickly when plans don’t go as expected.
  • The hard-working 'do-er' and perfectionist within me has found more peace.
  • I have rediscovered the simplicity of existence.
  • I experience more focus, efficiency, and enjoyment in my work because my "purpose" feels clearer.
  • I have a deeper understanding of "resonance" and how it works, naturally attracting work and people who align with my goals.
  • I observe what’s happening around me and in the world with more calm and compassion.
  • I stay less stuck in negative emotions.
  • The sometimes stubborn thought mill in my head feels softer and less overwhelming.
  • I regularly experience a deep, peaceful sense of my inner self. This allows me to feel relaxed, happy, or content with everything I do.
  • …and if I temporarily lose connection with my essence, I know the steps to get back.
  • Some old, persistent themes have been uprooted entirely in a simple way. Without struggle or pain – it’s just a belief that we must always suffer to grow.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’m quite analytical; will I get something out of this course?

No worries, I have a strong analytical mind too! So I know exactly what you’re talking about.

The guided meditations strengthen the right hemisphere of your brain, naturally bringing balance, peace, and new information to your system!

All you need is the intention to approach yourself and the course with an open mind and heart.

Ready to let go of mental control?

Do we sit with closed eyes on a cushion the entire time?

 Oh no, fortunately not! During a class, we do several meditations from the respective module and learn the technique. In between, there’s time for feedback, discussion, and integration.

How much time should I spend on home study?

Ideally, do one meditation from the audio set each day, which is 20-25 minutes. The more regularly you meditate, the more familiar it becomes, and the more smoothly you integrate the experiences of meditation into daily life.

When is the best time to practice?

 

That’s entirely up to you. The benefit of meditating early in the morning is that you’ll enjoy its effects throughout the day. Others prefer to meditate in the evening. Gradually, you’ll learn to incorporate short, spontaneous meditation moments into your daily routine.

I can’t attend every session. Is that a problem?

 No, that’s not an issue. The online sessions are recorded and sent to you the next day. You’ll also stay connected via the Facebook group.

Why is the course spread over 6 months?

 The entire course is an intense and transformative experience, and integration requires time and patience. Six months allows you to move through this process comfortably.
